How to create a database and database user in hostgator

Step 1 :Open your cpanel in hostgator ,under databse click on the"Mysql databses".

Step 2 : Click on the New database   and enter the database name.(Your database name will be your username_database name)

After successful creation of your database the "your databse added "message will comes. You can find your new databse under the Current databses.

Step 3: With this your database is successfully created Now we need to create a database user for our database to give access to  our database.

Step 4 : Under MYSQL database we can find add a new user   enter your database user name followed by the password.

Step 4 : Now we have created our database user but we didn't given any access to our database to give access to our database .Click on Add a user to our database.

Sep 5 : Now select your database and database user and click on add to give previlages to user

 

Then click on all privileges and the click on make changes .

Finally, we have create a database and databse user and we connected both of them.
